Audrey L. Haydon-Blackmon
About
Audrey is a 2007 graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where she received a B.S. in Foreign Service. After college, Audrey went on to study at the American University Washington College of Law and graduated with honors with her Juris Doctor in 2010. A Bardstown native and an 8th-generation Kentuckian, Audrey returned to her hometown in 2010 to begin her law practice.
Since then, Audrey has focused on representing injured people in Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Social Security Disability cases. Every year since 2016, Audrey has been named “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a distinction only given to just 2.5% of attorneys. From 2023-2024, she served as the chair of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Workers Compensation Section. Audrey is a Board Member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Education Association and speaks frequently on legal issues related to injured workers.
Since 2018, Audrey has served as the City Attorney for the City of Bardstown. She was appointed City Attorney for the City of Bloomfield in 2024. Audrey also serves as legal counsel to the Nelson County Community Clinic, and serves on the St. Joseph School Advisory Council.
Audrey lives in Bardstown with her husband, Jacob, and their three daughters.
